In January 2014 the refurbished Museum of preColumbian Art reopened in Santiago. Working together with the architect Smiljan Radic, Geoff Pickup designed a the new gallery Chile before Chile which for the first time in Santiago explores the cultural heritage of a country whose diverse landscape has previously been considered by many as country of several unconnected traditions.
